Herschel Vicars Equestrian Camp & Trails

In June 2010, the Clark County Park District Board of Commisioners honored the many hours of volunteer work by Mr Vicars by dedicating the Herschel Vicars Equestrian Camp & Trails. The camp is located at the South end of the main park. Riders can currently primitive camp with horses at regular primitive camping rates. Non-potable (not for human consumption) water is available in the camp area for horses. Shower facilities, restrooms, and potable water are located near the Equestrian Camp in the main campground for riders.

We look forward to adding Equestrian specific events to our line up in the coming years.
