The Park District has an annual operating budget of approximately $1million.
The administrative office is located at 20482 N Park Entrance Rd, Marshall, IL, inside Mill Creek Park.
The District currently employs nine full time staff members and twelve part time/seasonal employees. The Board of Commissioners is made up of seven elected officials which oversee policy and financial procedures.
The Board has standing committees for Policy/Community Parks, Finance/Master Plan, Lake Management, CCPD Trails Coalition, 3rd of July, and Campers.

Gatehouse Hours:

During Season April 1st-October 31st.   Gatehouse Closed November 1st-March 31st

Camping

Boating

Stocking of Mill Creek Lake started in the spring of 1980 by the Illinois Department of Conservation.

Cabins

Cabins are great for the outdoor enthusiast and families alike.

Trails

Mill Creek Park has approximately 15 miles of ATV/OHV trails located on the west side of the Park.

FROM CHICAGO, IL

Take Interstate 57 south to Mattoon/Charleston Exit. Exit onto Route 16. Take Route 16 through Charleston and on through Ashmore Approximately 2 miles east of Ashmore on Route 16 is the Route 49 intersection, turn Right (South) on Route 49. Take Route 49 south about 7 miles to the yellow flashing lights. Watching for sign for Clarksville Road, and Mill Creek Park Turn Left (East) onto Clarksville Road. It is approximately 8 miles to the park entrance. The entrance sign "MILL CREEK PARK" will be on the right.

FROM TERRE HAUTE, IN

Take Interstate 70 West about 18 miles to the Marshall, IL exit. Take Route 1 South to Route 40. Turn right on Route 40 and go about a half a mile. Look for the brown Mill Creek Park sign on the right. Turn right on the Clarksville Road. Go about 7 miles. The park is on the left. You will see a small portion of the lake from the road.

FROM ROBINSON, IL

Take Route 1 north to Marshall, IL (about 25 to 35 miles) At the second stop light, turn left. You will be on Route 40. Go about a half a mile. Look for brown Mill Creek Park sign on the right. Turn right on the Clarksville Road. Go about 7 miles. The park is on the left. You will see a small portion of the lake from the road.
